The REST API covers products: consent, certificates, screening lists and coverage. The GraphQL API exposes the data graph underneath them. You can read any model furnished to your networks with filters, ordering and nested relations, and furnish an identity together with everything recorded about it in a single mutation.

Authentication

GraphQL takes the same credentials as REST: an organization API key or a dashboard session token in the Authorization header. See Authentication.
A missing or invalid credential returns 401 before the query runs.

The schema

The schema supports introspection, so any GraphQL client can load it from the endpoint; there’s no hosted GraphiQL in sandbox or production. Names are camelCase, so the REST field consumer_identity_id corresponds to a consumer’s identifier here. Every object has two IDs: id is its global Relay ID, which node(id:) accepts, and identifier is its UUID.

Reading data

  • Scope. Reads under furnished(networkIds:) only see rows in those networks, and you must be a member of each. Leave networkIds out to use every network you belong to. Within that scope you read the records your organization furnished, records the networks’ governors furnished, and records from institutions that granted you access through consent.
  • Filtering. List fields take a filter built from field (a lookup on one field, such as { lastName: { exact: "Alvarez" } }), object (a filter on a related object), and all, any and not to combine them.
  • Ordering. order takes a list such as [{ field: { createdAt: DESC } }].
  • Pagination. Root collections come in two forms: consumerIdentities takes limit and offset, and consumerIdentitiesConnection takes first and after and returns edges, pageInfo and totalCount. Nested lists take limit and offset.
See Querying with GraphQL for worked examples.

Billing

Reads under furnished and networks are recorded as billable query events. The exception is furnished(networkIds: [...], isEntitled: true), which isn’t billed and returns only rows you’re already entitled to through an earlier product query or furnish. Furnishing a consumer entitles you to the consumer’s profile, not to every record under it, so nested lists in an entitled read can come back empty.

Errors

A request that reaches GraphQL returns 200 with an errors array when a field fails, alongside whatever data resolved. Unexpected server errors are reported without internal detail; quote the X-Request-ID response header when you contact support.
